The polls have now been officially closed for the municipal elections.
As of 8:00pm Kapuskasing, Hearst, Moonbeam, Opasatika, Fauquier-Strickland, Val Rita-Harty and Smooth Rock Falls have all closed their voting stations for their respective municipal elections.
Votes have begun being calculated and totals will be released as unofficial updates come in.
