It took two phone calls from the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation to convince Matt Lafleur of Porcupine that he won $118,920 in the April 50-50 draw.
In between calls, he checked his numbers and determined they were a match.
The dad of a young family, Lafleur says initially, the money will pay off some bills and get his truck back into working order.
