After getting cut during budget deliberations, the town of Kap has brought back the Spring Clean-up.
In a press release this afternoon, the town announced that the clean-up will start on Monday May 6 when residents are encouraged to leave items such as furniture, television sets, electronics and bicycles at the road side.
People who have large appliances are asked to contact the public works department 705-337-4468 to schedule a pick-up. The spring garbage collection will take place from Monday May 13 to Friday, May 17 during regular pick-up.
A reminder no tires, demolition or construction materials will be picked up.
