Smooth Rock Falls recognizes volunteers as part of ‘Volunteer Week’

Several residents, groups and organizations were honoured for their continuing contributions to the community during the Town of Smooth Rock Falls volunteer ceremony.

Sheila Jacques was named as Historical Pillar of the Community for her hard work at preserving local history.

The hospital auxiliary was selected as the mayor’s volunteer service award winner, while the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 305 won Outstanding Community Group. Aging at home received the Accessibility Award.
