Ontario’s Regional Chief is conditionally optimistic with the Wynne Liberals’ Climate Change Action Plan.
Isadore Day says the plan is a step in the right direction that will preserve land for future generations.
However Day expects the Liberals to work with First Nations when implementing the plan.
Some of that work could begin next week in Thunder Bay where First Nation chiefs are holding a climate change meeting with three cabinet ministers.
