Kap Kraze the tailgate country derby, is fast approaching July 17th and July 18th on the Sports Palace grounds, and the tourism and special events coordinator says the whole weekend is becoming popular with everyone, not just the demotion derby and concert. Kelly Kraby (Craw-bee) says the Friday tailgate party is really starting to take off.
“We have our awesome fireworks display that’s going to be happening that night too, so it’s just a fun evening to come out and really and even connect with our Demolition Derby drivers because they get to check out their cars,” she said.
Marshall Dane makes his return to Kap Kraze with an acoustic performance at the Friday tailgate party.
“If you remember in 2023 he opened up for the Washboard Union when they came here a few years ago so we welcomed him back, a lot of people really enjoyed him so this year will be a bit different as he will be solo and he will be singing in the back of a pick-up truck,” she added.
Tickets for Kap Kraze are available at the Welcome Centre or on Event Brite.
