Explore Moonbeam brings together tourism, golf and community events

The town of Moonbeam’s economic development arm has rebranded under a new name, Explore Moonbeam. Executive director Antoine Tine says in the past tourism, golf and events were separated, creating some confusion, and now it brings everyone together under one roof.

“That includes a new logo, new merchandise, signage a refreshed online presence, and a strong focus in promoting what we already have like our outdoor lifestyle, events and our community,” he said.

Tine says the group is a separate entity from town hall, but they will still work together on partnerships. He adds that the rebrand also includes a new logo that focuses on its landmark in the spaceship.

“The spaceship is already part of Moonbeam’s DNA, it’s what people remember,” he said. “Instead of moving away from it we lean into it, we modernized it and tie it to our natural surroundings so now we can present both sides of who we are.”

Tine says they’re not changing what Moonbeam is but instead showcasing its personality better. He adds that the new look will help them become more recognizable, marketable, and confident in how they present themselves to visitors and even people in their own community.
