The total budget approved by the board of trustees is $120,596,810.
New priorities for next year’s budget include the advancement of the ONE’s 1:1 iPad program, with a final goal of putting a device in every students’ hands by the end of implementation.
The board will also be seeking to bring in a First Nation, Metis and Inuit Education Lead to its staff.
Superintendent of Business Pearl Fong-West says the board continues to face a decline of enrolment from a current population of around 11,000 students.
The board reports a 1.25 per cent increase in salaries will be applied to teaching and non-teaching staff.
