The Timmins airport could be getting a facelift in the coming years.
The Timmins Chamber of Commerce came to council this week, laying out ten recommendations to improve the facility.
First Vice-President of the Chamber, Christine Bender, says implementing their recommendations will help boost the local economy.
One of the recommendations is to implement a pilot project for public transportation.
Airport Manager Dave Dayment is now going to look into all of the recommendations and bring a report on cost back to council.
Those numbers will then be analyzed as part of the 2017 budget.
