The live performance line-up for Kapuskasing’s Lumberjack Heritage Festival has now been announced.
Lumberjack Fest is one of the largest summer events held in northern Ontario and runs from July 22nd to the 24th.
Special Events Coordinator Kelly Kraby says there will be a lot of local music at the festival this year.
Kraby says while the programming isn’t finalized yet, the town is planning new children’s events.

She says the BMX stunt riders will be back this year and the town is expanding the prize pools for the amateur lumberjack competitions.
Performances from Johnny Cash, Larry Berrio and Guns N’ Roses cover bands will be joining the local acts over the course of the weekend.
