Canadian Blood Services has expanded next month’s blood drive to four days as it’s putting out a call for more donors.
It’s also looking for those with O-type blood.
They’re universal donors whose blood is usually needed in emergency situations, such as those where there isn’t enough time to determine blood type.
On May 30th and 31st next week St. Dominique Hall in Timmins is hosting its monthly drive.
Fortunately, the clinic’s entire first day has been booked and next month’s drive in June is slated to last four days.
You can find out more on how to donate, how to schedule an appointment and everything which goes into donating blood at here.
