Students from St. Patrick’s School in Kapuskasing made the task of public speaking look easy.
The Zone Competition held in Hearst this past weekend had St. Pat’s students coming out on top.
Jared Duncan took first place in the primary division, Macy Piche took first in the junior and Carlee Weidhass took first in intermediate.
Legion Youth Chair Diane Leaist says the students will be moving onto the district level of competition in Hearst on April 2nd.
The winners of the next bout will be heading to provincials.
