The OPP is reminding residents to keep their snowmobiles secure when storing or transporting them.
This comes as a snowmobile was stolen out of the back of a pick-up truck near Kirkland Lake.
The OPP says a thief only needs about 30 seconds to make off with a sled, even out of the back of a trailer or truck bed.
The OPP is asking riders to make sure all valuables and documentation are locked up, keys are not left in the vehicle and to park it in a well-lit area if possible.
