Kapuskasing town council will be taking a closer look at by-laws pertaining to snow mobile use within the municipality.
Council has given its recommendation to pass the by-laws but will vote at the next meeting pending more discussion.
Council says it will be taking a look at some of the new ATV changes in terms of safety and implementation for sledders.
Council also made a recommendation to give its support to Temiskaming and other towns to expand Highway 11.
The current proposal would see four lanes on the TransCanada Highway between North Bay and Cochrane.
Council may make the recommendation to expand it all the way to Hearst as well.
