Police renew plea for information, one year after the disappearance of Dean Mattinas

It’s been a year since Dean Mattinas disappeared. James Bay OPP have renewed their plea for anyone with information to come forward. The $50,000 reward remains in effect.

Mattinas – who would now be 28 – was last seen walking along Hwy. 11, about six kilometres west of Constance Lake, the morning of March 18th, 2024. It’s believed he was hitchhiking to Thunder Bay.

DESCRIPTION

  • 5’10” (178 cm) tall with an athletic build
  • Black hair, brown eyes, a thin moustache and slight sideburns
  • Last seen wearing a camouflage or beige jacket, blue jeans, brown boots and possibly a black Under Armour brand tote bag and/or brown backpack
