Emergency services and airport first responders have been running emergency drills in Kapuskasing.
Kapuskasing is a regional evacuation centre in case of emergency in the surrounding region.
Manger of Protective Services Gerry Dumeules says the drill was very helpful.
Dumeules says the drills found several logistic kinks that were worked out.
He says fire, emergency medical personnel, airport emergency staff and the OPP performed exceptionally in the drill.
Students from KDHS helped out acting as victims during the scenarios.
