Kapuskasing children will still be able to write letters to Santa Claus despite the strike by Canada Post workers.
Local president of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers Jose Matos says they are joining other unions across the country to make sure Santa gets his mail.
“We are picketing 10-2 Monday through Friday on the circle right in front of the Post Office and we have a box set up for the letters to come in,” he said.
Matos says all of the responses to the letters will be returned to the children in time for Christmas.
