Two impaired driving charges were awaiting a 26-year-old Kapuskasing man early Saturday, when OPP responded to his car being in the ditch.
The car ended up on its roof in the eastbound ditch of Highway 11, west of Smooth Rock Falls. The OPP says among the debris surrounding the car were empty liquor containers.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance with what police call non-life-altering injuries.
He’s charged with driving while impaired by alcohol or a drug and having more than .08% alcohol in his blood.
His driver’s licence was automatically suspended for 90 days… and the car impounded for seven days.
