The Warm Belly Soup Kitchen is bringing back the In Good Company Christmas Day Brunch.
It will be held between 11 am to 2 pm in the gymnasium at the Kapuskasing Indian Friendship Centre. Soup Kitchen Coordinator Amanda Rickard says the brunch will have all of the breakfast favorites for everyone to enjoy.
“And we just want you to come out Christmas Day even if it’s not because you are hungry, but because you are by yourself or you want to do something special with your family,” she said. “Come on out you are welcome to join us and if you can afford it, drop a few coins into the donation bin.”
Rickard says if you know someone who can’t attend but would love something, they can help with that.
“Please come by and pick them up a take-out container and deliver it for them,” she said. “Unfortunately for us this year we are unable to do deliveries. But we will be more than happy to pack up a take-out package for you.”
