Knights of Columbus gives $20,000 to Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation

The Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundations’ maternity ward project received a $20,000 donation from the Knights of Columbus in Kapuskasing. Grand Knight Al Trottier says it the money was collected from a number of different events.

“Mostly bingos, it’s been a big success for us especially coming out of COVID,” he said. “We’re able to fundraise quite a bit for a variety of activities community, children whatever we can do to help out.”

Trottier says it was a no brainer to help out the foundation.

“What the foundation is doing to give a little extra attention, and we’re more than happy to contribute to the good that their doing,” he said.

Hospital Foundation project manager Mireille Dubosq says it appreciates the support from the Knights of Columbus and the money will go towards the purchase of a labour and delivery room bed.
