OPP recover drugs and firearms from search warrant in Hearst, leads to charges

Ontario Provincial Police recovered firearms and drugs following a search warrant. It’s led to charges for a Hearst duo.

Police searched the home at 4 am yesterday morning and discovered suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and several firearms including a sawed-off shotgun.

A 47-year-old Hearst man is up on four firearm possession charges, two for careless storage of a firearm, and ammunition as well as one for drugs.  A 31-year-old Constance Lake woman is facing one drug possession charge.
