Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation has set its sights on the next fundraising project….an upgrade to the delivery room equipment. Project Manager Mireille Dubosq says the foundation is looking at fundraising $88,375 for four important items.
“The first piece of equipment being a fetal heart rate monitor, a delivery bed, a post-natal family bed and an overhead light,” she said.
Dubosq says fundraising got off on the right foot thanks to a donation from Natasha Major at the Rotary Club’s Bay Dip Challenge over the weekend.
“For raising $5,000, so we are getting 50 percent of that plus 25 percent of all of the 50 jumpers amounts,” she said. “So we’re anticipating approximately $10,000 coming our way.”
Proceeds from the online 50-50 draw will also be added to the total as well as donations from anyone who wants to help out.
