Construction of a new Community Centre for Val Rita-Harty received a boost with a $132,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The funding will be used to restore the outdoor basketball court, install new playground equipment as well as lighting and a sound system in the new gymnasium.
The former elementary school in Val Rita-Harty is being renovated to be the home of the facility. All of the construction is expected to be wrapped up by the end of April.
