In two short weeks, the Kapuskasing Rotary Club’s Bay Dip Challenge has already hit its limit of participants.
Organizer Don McInnis says a new record of 40 people have registered for the third annual event set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 1 pm. The Challenge allows people to jump into a hole cut into the Kapuskasing River Bay for charity. In two years of the challenge, close to $60,000 has been raised for various non-profits in the community.
He adds the club is overwhelmed with the interest shown and hopes to share more details on plans for the challenge in the coming weeks.
