International Women’s Day is a week away and organizers are finalizing a full line-up for the virtual event that’s takes place from 7 to 10 pm. Committee member Chelsea Mateev says there will be everything from inspiration messages, yoga sessions and some great music inspired from Facebook live concerts.
“Which have brought a lot of light to our lives and has helped us feel more connected while highlighting the amazing talent we have here so we will be featuring female artists singing in French, English and Cree,” she said.
Mateev says this year’s event is special because everyone can enjoy it from the comfort of their own homes.
“Taking the time to connect for our bodies, our minds and our hearts in sweet and joyful ways because the most important relationship is the one that you have with yourself,” she said. “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”
