How would you like to win a thousand dollars from local downtown businesses ? As part of their kick-off the BIA is holding a series of draws where you can score big buy just shopping downtown. President Luc Dinnissen says the contest will run through the entire month of September and drawn every Friday.
“There will be about 4 or 5 thousand dollars available in September, and all people have to do is shop downtown BIA Businesses and they will earn a ballot where they can fill it out and win $1,000,” Dinnissen said.
The draw is part of a kick-off of the improvements made to the Circle area that includes new street signs, flags and a new logo. Dinnissen said the money for the improvements was provided through a grant.
