Hearst will have its first Indigenous representative in the 2018 Miss Northern Ontario Pageant.
After not having a representative since 2015 in former winner Kara Fillion, the town will have a new representative in 2018 in Kerrigan Iserhoff.
Iserhoff says she will be looking to continue Hearst’s success at the competition by returning home a champion, but she isn’t feeling as much pressure as you might think.
She says being the first Indigenous representative from the area means a lot.

Iserhoff also says as the pageant nears, she is a mix of nerves but also excitement.
The Miss Northern Ontario Pageant for 2018 takes place in Sudbury at the Sheridan Auditorium Friday, April 27th and Saturday April 28th.
