UPDATE: Highway 11 was re-opened between Hearst and Longlac as of Saturday afternoon.
After being briefly re-opened early Friday, Highway 11 has been closed off due to another series of crashes and bad weather.
The Ministry of Transportation Ontario put out an alert of a closure to Highway 11 from just west of Hearst to Longlac around 1:00pm Friday.
The MTO website says multiple crashes due to the immense amount of snow and ice has caused them to once again close down.
There is no word yet as to when the section of highway will be re-opened.
