Kapuskasing got scary and they also got dancing for the hungry over the weekend.
This past Saturday at La Forge a Halloween Dance was held in co-operation with Zombie Walk 3.0 to raise funds for the Kapuskasing Food Bank.
Organizer Jennifer Coghill says in total they raised an astonishing $2,550 in monetary donations alone on Saturday.
Coghill says having the dance this year was a learning experience, which will help them moving forward.
She says this year’s first ever Halloween Dance fundraiser was far beyond their expectations.
Coghill says she would like to thank all who had a part in helping with the walk, dance or simply lending a donation, it was all greatly appreciated.
