A fundraiser for a children’s hospital in the northeast brought in over $50,000. It was called the Superheroes for Little Heroes, and happened at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Sudbury police officers rappelled down the side of the hospital in superhero costumes to surprise the patients in the pediatric and neonatal intensive care units.
The funds raised will go back into NEO Kids Foundation, which services the entire northeast. The foundation builds awareness for children’s care needs and raises funds for services, equipment, and research.
