Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha doesn’t like how long the Liberals are taking to decide the fate of Service Ontario offices. In June, the Liberals announced the closure of nine Service Ontario offices, including northeastern locations. Then they reversed the closures saying the earlier decision needed further review.
Mantha says not only are the Liberals disappointing people, but they’re keeping the issue in limbo. He says the public didn’t vote for these office closures or for the threat of having them closed. And, he says now the province doesn’t know what to expect from the Wynne government.
Mantha says the Liberal are creating short-term satisfaction by saying more review is needed.
