The totals are in for the annual Hey Day sale. This year about $32,400 was raised in a day and a half, which is up from last year where $31,800 was brought in.
The Sensenbrenner Hospital Auxiliary hosts the sale every year to raise money for new hospital equipment. President of the Hospital Auxiliary, Wendy Guillemette says right now they’re trying to pay off the ultrasound machine which cost over $200,000.
Guillemette is thankful for the continued community support and is happy with the turn out this year.
About 150 volunteers helped out with the sale. Guillemette says they will most likely start collecting donations for next year in June.
