Over $5,000 dollars was raised at the annual Terry Fox Run in Kapuskasing this year. The run had 65 participants, 11 volunteers and support from many local businesses.
Organizer of the event, Susan Renaud says she is grateful for all the community support and is looking forward to doing it again next year.
One local resident, Stella Arezza went out to all the houses and business in the weeks before the event and was able to raise almost $3,000 herself.
