A 19-year-old man from Hearst is facing several charges after stealing a firearm and motor vehicle.
Last Friday police were advised of a collision that took place just North of Hearst. The OPP determined that the man had stolen property from several houses including a firearm, ammunition, chainsaw and motor vehicle.
Police say after the crash the suspect returned to the house where the vehicle was stolen and took a motocross type of motorcycle. With the motorcycle the man proceeded to cause damage to the Hearst Golf Club.
Police have charged the man with several counts of break and enter, theft, possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana, and meth.
The accused will appear at the Hearst Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges October 12th.
