Fireworks, live entertainment and fun activities for the whole family will all be a part of Cochrane’s Summerfest this year. The festival caters to all age groups with live entertainment and an all-day music line up including northern bands and talent right on the lake. There’s also activities for both children and adults with slides, rock climbing, mud bogs, a horseshoe competition and much more.
Director for Community Services for the town of Cochrane Terry Vachon says the festival has a huge economic impact on the town itself.
Vachon also says this could be the biggest Summerfest they’ve had so far. All of the proceeds raised during this festival are reinvested back into community recreation.
