A former councilor of the Dokis First Nation is now the chief operating officer of the Union of Ontario Indians. Gary Dokis began running the helm at the union’s offices as of Monday, July 11th, 2016. Dokis is a former executive director of the Chiefs of Ontario and a former political advisor to the Grand Council Chief.
