College Boreal is offering a new program for car enthusiasts at both their Sudbury and Timmins campus. The 29-week program is called the Motive Power Trades pre-apprenticeship program. It will focus on automotive mechanic techniques, including heavy-duty equipment and truck and coach maintenance. It also includes a two-month work placement. Anyone 16-years or older can sign up for the course, which has no cost thanks to funding from the Ontario government.
