Lumberjack Fest Organizers Accepting Event Volunteers

Summer is rapidly approaching and one of the north’s largest summer events, the Lumberjack Heritage Festival is looking for volunteers.

The festival has slowly begun growing again thanks to increasing attendance from visitors to the town and new events added to its schedule.

This year’s event runs from July 22nd to the 24th.

Community Development Officer Chantal Rody says volunteers can call the town of Kapuskasing or drop into the Welcome Centre off Highway 11 and Millview Road.
