Gilles Bisson is continuing to pressure the government over support for Attawapiskat.
The MPP for Timmins-James Bay is asking the government if there is going to be a long-term commitment to help the First Nations community.
Bisson says this crisis has shown there needs to be a change to the way health services are delivered.
Bisson says the system that is designed by Queen’s Park isn’t responding to the needs of the community.
Health Minister Eric Hoskins says this is a conversation the government is having, and they are working on a separate process to meet the needs of the First Nations.
This comes after a two-million dollar commitment from the province.
