It’s National Immunization Awareness Week and the PHU wants you to know it’s easy to track your vaccinations.
The Porcupine Health unit is promoting the use of the ImmunizeCA app which lets you input your records directly and will remind you when they’re not up to date.
The app is free and be found on Blackberry World, Google Play or the App Store.
Public Health Nurse Megan Touchette says having something like this could be especially important if you need emergency medical attention.
Immunization records may be required before entering post-secondary education or before starting a new job.
