Anglers Facing Fines for not Obeying Size Regulations

The MNR is reminding northerners to follow the fishing rules in Ontario, or you could be fined big time.

This comes as a North Bay man has to pay up 24-hundred dollars for taking walleye of a prohibited size from Lake Nipissing.

Bruce Duhaime pleaded guilty to illegally catching and keeping six undersized walleye.

The MNR is reminding anglers to obey provincial regulations pertaining to size and to make sure licenses are up to date, especially with May-run just around the corner.
