As agriculture courses have wrapped up here in Kapuskasing, its Economic Development Corporation is already looking to the future.
From the EDC, Andre Robichaud says the investment into developing agriculture isn’t one dimensional.
Robichaud says in reference to the Fromagerie Kapuskoise and the Hearst vodka distillery, those two operations are significant local businesses in the field.
College Boreal teamed up with the town to hold the courses, which featured both local participants and those from around the province via the internet.
He says agriculture once factored greatly into the local economy and he’s hoping one day it will again.
