Snowmobile trails in the region are slowly but surely opening up, with many sledders already out and about.
The top A-Trail which connects Iroquois Falls to Cochrane, Smooth Rock, Moonbeam and Kapuskasing is fully open with unrestricted used.
The rest of the trails, however are on a limited basis opening with local clubs working to flood crossings, fill ditches and groom the area.
More trails are slated to open this weekend as routes near Timmins have opened as well.
