Some Public Works in the Northeast are asking residents not to pile removed snow either back onto side walks or onto the street.
Normally at this time of year there is a shortage of places to put the snow and that’s not the case during this mild winter.
Kapuskasing’s CAO Yves Labelle says many residents have been moving snow off their property back onto publicly cleared sidewalks and streets.
Labelle says most of Riverside Drive had to be completely redone earlier in the week.
