Mining Death Sparks Investigation

There`s been a death at a fly-in mine north of Thunder Bay.

An underground miner working a scoop tram at the Musselwhite Mine has died as the result of a rock-fall.

In a news release, mine owner Goldcorp says the scoop was completely covered by material which killed the miner yesterday.

Mining operations are suspended while authorities, including the Ministry of Labour, investigate the death.
