A mining company is examining ways to transport the chromite ore which is contained in the Ring of Fire.
KWG says it has mining claims to the site and has brought on FSDI, a railroad specialist out of China to begin studying ways to transport the ore.
KWG says it will be working in the interests of two First Nations communities near its claims.
It says the Tribal Council from both communities will be involved in the studies moving forward.
KWG says once the study is complete, all parties will meet early next year to discuss their options including how to finance the project.
