A brazen jewellery thief is being sought by the Timmins Police and Crime Stoppers.
Brenda Beaven, the Cochrane District Crime Stoppers coordinator reports that on Sunday, August 9th at about 4:15pm, a man tried on several items at Peoples Jewellers in Timmins Square.
“The suspect then requested to try on a nearly $13,000 gold chain,” Beaven continues. “The store representative assisted him with trying it on and then the male fled the store without paying for the chain.”
