Power interruption planned for part of Kapuskasing

Heads up about a power outage coming to Kapuskasing this weekend.

Northern Ontario Wires says the electricity will be off on Sunday between eight in the morning and one in the afternoon. It will affect Pine St., Spruce St., Birch St. and Oak St., Cedar Ave. and Mundy Ave. including College Boréal and Guenette Funeral Home.

The utility says the interruption is needed for maintenance and upgrades.
