Fall vaccine season arrives

Vaccination clinics for the flu and COVID-19 begin in our region the week of October 20th.

Northeastern Public Health manager of immunizations Kassandra Plante offers advice on finding out when and exactly where in your community the clinics are planned.

“Checking the website would be a great spot and then also you could always call in as well to find out when the next clinic is happening,” she says.

“All clinics are appointment-based. That being said, if someone walks in, we won’t turn them away. They might just have to wait a little bit. So appointments are extremely encouraged.”
