Nearly $750,000 is being invested into northern food and agriculture projects in Ontario.
The NOHFC is investing $400,000 into Claybelt Drainage and Fromagerie Kapuskoise in Kapuskasing.
Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle says the NOHFC is investing in a total of seven businesses.
Claybelt will be using the funding for a new maintenance facility.
Fromagerie Kapuskoise will put its funding towards new equipment for their cheese making operations.
This comes a week after the NOHFC announced investments in small businesses in Cochrane and Kapuskasing last week.
